Woodland's 88th Annual Homecoming weekend

Come out and celebrate America's 250th with Woodland, MI.   The 88th Annual Woodland Homecoming  is Sept 4th thru Sept 6th.   This year's Grand Marshall is Betty Carpenter! Mayleigh Raffler is 2026 Miss Woodland with kiddie court Kamryn Shaw as Kiddie Queen and Aiden Darling as Kiddie King.

The celebration begins Friday night with  a softball tournament that runs through the weekend. Friday Ice Cream Social and family fun continues through the weekend. The parade is Sat. at 1pm and features the VFW Color Guard, Lakewood High School Marching Band, floats and local royalty. The Lions Club annual Chicken BBQ Saturday  afternoon!

Community Breakfast @ Hastings Emmanuel Episcopal Church

From 8:00AM to 9:30AM

Emmanuel invites you to their Saturday morning Communtiy Breakfast every Saturday serving from 8am til 9:30am.  Enjoy a delicious hot breakfast. 

Also if you need food or would like to donate food visit Emmanuel's Food Pantry (grey box) by the Entrance.  It is a self serve pantry available 24/7.

Barry County- Overdose Awareness Day

The Barry County Serenity Club invites you out for Overdose Awareness Day, Saturday, Sept. 5th, 5:00pm to 9:30pm at the Thornapple Plaza, Downtown Hastings.  Enjoy live  Music by bands DRIVEN & ROLLIN ROY, along with recovery resource vendors , Food,and community support organizations. This event aims to honor those lost to addiction , support families, reduce stigma and celebrate recovery!
